Meloni shifts for Jackie Robinson pic

Meloni"Guy of Steel" thesp Christopher Meloni is within discussions to become listed on Harrison Ford and Chadwick Boseman in Legendary Pictures' baseball drama "42." Boseman stars as Jackie Robinson, while Ford will have Branch Rickey. Meloni will have Leo Durocher, the manager from the Brooklyn Dodgers. John Helegeland is writing and pointing the pic, which is created by Legendary's chairman/Boss Thomas Tull, and professional created by Legendary prexy/CCO Jon Jashni. Former Disney chairman Dick Prepare will even professional produce. Meloni is better noted for playing Det. Elliot Stabler on "Law & Order: Special Sufferers Unit" for over a decade. Thesp, who lately co-direct National Lampoon's sketch comedy pic "Dirty Movie," will quickly be viewed on HBO's "True Bloodstream." Meloni is repped by Gersh and Industry Entertainment.
